About the Game

Step into the autumn-kissed world of Before Winter Falls, a handcrafted 3D indie game with a charming low-poly aesthetic. You play as Elowen, a humanoid rabbit struggling with a deadly illness called Deathbane.

Her only way to ease the symptoms? Brewing and drinking potions—if she can gather the right ingredients.

But there may be a cure. A mysterious village witch offers salvation… for a steep price. With little gold to her name, Elowen must take on work—preparing potions for the witch and earning coins at the local tavern. Every choice brings her closer to survival, but will it be enough?

Created within a single semester as part of a school project, Before Winter Falls blends potion crafting, resource gathering, and heartfelt storytelling into a short but memorable experience. About the Developer

I created Before Winter Falls over the course of six months as part of my studies at the HTK Academy, putting my heart into every detail. From designing the world to crafting the mechanics, this game is a labor of love. I hope you enjoy and spend time in it.
